95 RAP™ is a technology-based, Tier 3 intervention for students who are persistently struggling to learn to read, including those with dyslexia.

Developed by Hill as the Hill Reading Achievement Program (HillRAP), 95 Percent Group acquired HillRAP in January 2023 and renamed the program 95 RAP. 95 RAP is an individualized, small group reading intervention designed for struggling readers who have been intervention resistant. Direct, explicit, mastery-based instruction supports progress in phonological awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension.

Hill and 95 Percent Group work together to support 95 RAP in US-based schools and districts.

Hill provides 95 RAP training, coaching, and implementation support for:

  • Select NC Districts (Ashe, Avery, Chapel Hill-Carrboro, Carteret, Davie, Durham, Edgecombe, Orange, Stanly)
  • NC independent/private schools, charter schools, and university lab schools

  • Designed by teachers for teachers, lessons are delivered efficiently in 45-minute blocks, four to five days per week, in a 4:1 student to teacher ratio.
