Emergent literacy skills are the basic building blocks for learning to read and write. Areas of focus will include the three major emergent literacy skills: oral language, phonological awareness, and the alphabetic principle. Participants will gain strategies for teaching these skills and will learn how to scaffold instruction within a HillRAP lesson. This workshop is intended for teachers currently implementing the HillRAP methodology with emergent readers.

Intended Audience:
HillRAP Implementors working with emergent readers in Kindergarten-2nd grade

A partial scholarship for this workshop may be available. Please fill out this form and you will be notified if a scholarship is available.
