The Hill Reading Achievement Program, or HillRAP Digital, leverages technology to support teacher-delivered, individualized, small-group reading intervention for struggling readers. HillRAP is a mastery-based program that is ideally delivered in 45-minute blocks with a 4:1 student to teacher ratio. The HillRAP instructor and students access content – including individualized drill questions, word lists, and decodable texts – through wirelessly connected iPads, whether they are in the same room or over the Internet! This virtual training combines self-paced, online learning with interactive, facilitated review and practice followed by personalized coaching to equip teachers with the knowledge, skills, and support to implement successfully. Upon completion of the training, teachers will be prepared to deliver this individualized, multi-sensory, structured language intervention.
Training Package Includes:

  • Breaking the Code online course (complete in advance)
  • HillRAP self-paced, online training (complete in advance)
  • HillRAP live, interactive webinar
  • Observation by Hill Master Mentor (complete within 6 weeks after the start of implementation)
  • 1-year license to HillRAP curriculum, data tracking, reports, online resources, and iPad app

Intended Audience: Reading interventionists, special education teachers, literacy specialists, speech and language pathologists, tutors

Live webinars have limited capacity to provide highly-responsive, interactive review and practice. Additional observations may be purchased for those interested in strengthening implementation or pursuing IMSLEC-certification.
