The Hill Math Achievement Program, also know as "HillMath", is an adapted version of the highly successful Hill Center Methodology. Specifically created as a tutoring model for students who are experiencing difficulties in math, this program is implemented in small group sessions which focus on:
- Oral Drill
- Number Reading & Dictation
- Fluency
- Computation/Application/Word Problems
Each level of "HillMath" includes carefully-selected materials that will be used for instruction. Students will use manipulatives and worksheets that target specific math taught at each level, and will use additional workbooks to supplement instruction in math. Students will be pre- and post-tested, and parents will have an interim as well as a final meeting with the instructor. A written summary of final performance will be prepared for each student.
