HillRAP PREP

The Hill Reading Achievement Program, also know as HillRAP, is an adaptation of The Hill Center’s research-based multisensory structured language approach to teaching reading. HillRAP focuses on the decoding and fluency skills of reading and is designed to be implemented within a 45-60 minute class period with a 4:1 student teacher ratio.

The program has been piloted in public schools and has demonstrated effectiveness in significantly improving reading skills of students who have struggled with the decoding process.  In HillRAP workshops, participants will be introduced to The Hill Center’s internationally recognized reading methodology, a precision teaching method, utilizing The Hill Center’s reading assessment instrument to determine the appropriate entry level of instruction for each student as well as daily charting and graphing of student progress.

Certification in the Hill Reading Achievement Program is available to qualified applicants. Training and certification is geared toward elementary and middle school EC teachers, reading specialists, speech pathologists, and tutors.
